US went well yest - kidneys and ureters show no chage (which is good b/c we were worried that the UTIs may have been scarring the kidneys). The surgeon basically told us that he does not know why Jackson is getting UTIs again since his hypospadia and stricture repair. He stopped his Bactrim and will take him to the OR check for a stricture again, but Jackson's bladder was completely empty on US, so he does not think that a stricture is causing the UTIs, regardless.
So it's good news and bad news, I guess.
We jsut have to ride out these UTIs until he grows into his ureters or until he is big enough to handle ureter tapering and reimplantation, which is a MASSIVE surgery.
He's been moved up to 2 bottles of Pedisure a day since he was not eatting, but this morning, he ate better than ever for me, maybe it had something to do with the impending UTI??? Not sure though, he did not eat for almost 2 weeks! We see many specialists the next few weeks re. his weight gain and eatting.
