Christmas Time with The J's

The girls had a Christmas Program at Church about Mary having a Little Lamb named Jesus on Christmas morning. They both sang songs with the group of kids and Jaylee got to recite a verse. (She got very nervous when it was her turn.) Jennibelle loved playing up on teh stage, thowing her stuffed lamby arounf, but did NOT like it when some of the boys in her class started wrestling on stage and took her down. Boy can that girl give some DIRTY looks!! (Sorry the pictures are so blurry... camera was having a bad day - definately NOT the user's fault, haha)

Jaylee was much more into decorating the Christmas Tree than Jenni was this year, though they were both wuite helpful for teh first 3 1/2 minutes. Jaylee preferred to reach the higher branches.

Jenni really enjoyed wrapping presents with me this year. It really wore her out too! Below is a picture of the gift Jaylee wrapepd entirely by herself for Jennibelle. I thought she did a fantastic job!!
Christmas Eve was spent at Aunt Mandy's in her new house and the food was DELICIOUS. (Jason and I prepared the creamed onions. Yes I know I look ridiculous, but we were both crying a lot... contrary to the circulating rumor that Jason had his tear ducts removed in High School) The girls liked getting dressed up for a fancy dinner. And then the girls really liked getting SPOILED by hundreds of presents! (OK, a little exaggeration on my part)

Here is our Christmas Tree sometime after Santa arrived and before the little ladies awoke.

Mama was good and didn't wake the girls Christmas morning until 6 am. Then we ALL napped by 11 am. Everyone was very excited and got very nice gifts this year. Jenni was completely happy with her $3 makeup kit (the first gift she opened). We literally had to force her to open more gifts. Jaylee bought Mama a Clapper... and it really works!! Jason got a GPS and seat massager/warmer for his new truck. Mama got a Futon for the lower level, which is exactly what she was hoping for!

Jaylee enjoyed decorating Baby Jesus' Birthday Cake...

While Jenni enjoyed eatting the decorations!
We all had a great Christmas and miss everyone that we didn't get to spend it with. The girls are very excited to have Christmas again in January with Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately we had to take down the tree already... but the rest of the house is ready for the celebration!
