Jimmy Is 6

He’s kind and fair. He obeys the rules, as well as pushes the boundaries. He’s as cute as can be. He worries about classmates and teachers. He’s funny.  And, he’s 6.

Jimmy.

I remember, so vividly, thinking that he was not a cute baby... but boy oh boy is he a cute kid now!!  His blue eyes, with lashes for miles. And that smile!!  He has a cute little white line across his button nose. He has a heart so innocent and pure. He really is a “good” person at heart... always caring about classmates, crying uncontrollably when he accidentally hurts Jackson and trying to do special things for me.

Jennibelle is having her 14th bday party later this summer. We celebrated him early because he wanted Nan and Poppop to be a part of it. He had a Hawaii themed party (his choice, not mine) on our porch. He was so excited to pick out all of his decorations.

We played corn hole, had the sprinkler out and relaxed. A lot of relaxing!! It was a nice Memorial Day!
He’ll soon be done Kindergarten. He’s worked very hard this year at controlling “The Hulk” (his anger) and his whinyness. He’s also almost potty- trained through the night, he’s the youngest of all my kids, to achieve this.

His birthday was the last full day of school. He woke early to unwrap his goggles, soccer ball and Playskool Avenger Heroes. After school, we had Olive Garden and played Hide and Seek!!

The goggles he was borrowing were so tight that it gave him a “piggy nose”.

Our best hiding spots...

Jack hunter fir Jadon for quite a while. He had no idea that he was in the tree behind him.

And then, the kids played ball tag with Jason- on the trampoline. Aye aye aye.
