After exactly 8 years of marriage and 7 months of trying, we got a wonderful surprise today....
YOU!!
I can't wait to meet you, to hold you, to see you grow, to see Jennibelle as a big sister, and to see how Jaylee takes over being your Mom. You are already soo special to me, little J Baby!!!

I'm not even sure why I took the pregnancy test... Jason insisted that I buy one when we were out out for our anniversary dinner. The next morning, I gave it no thought, I just grabbed it and did what you gotta do, NEVER expecting that plus sign. I even had to look at the directions, since I have never gotten a "plus" before!! Then I sat there... smiling from ear to ear!! I could NOT believe it!! I yelled for the girls... Jenni came first, I hugged her and said "I'm pregnant!!" She immediately knew exactly what that meant... she hugged me and said "You're gonna have a baby?!? I'm gonna be a big sister?!?" Her excitement was putre and awesome! Then we both yelled for Jaylee, who was just as excited. I called Jason, knowing he was in a big meeting. So, I called 3 times in a row, knowing he'd eventually stop sending me to voice mail. He answered and said "Babe... I'm in a big meeting..." "I know", I cut him off. "But I'm pregnant!!" "Oh yeah?!? Hey everyone... my wife is pregnant!!!!!!" I could hear the excitement in his voice!!
Luckily, my Dr. could see me the next day (7/23). The ultrasound shows we're 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. We couldn't see the baby, but saw the sac and yolk just fine. So, in one week I go for another "Ultrasound for Viability". Don't like the sound of that, so will just say Ultrasound! The girls were so excited to see the ultrasound, though Jenni was nervous. Jaylee kept saying "Jenni it's fine, I've seen this before and it doesn't hurt!" They were a little disappointed to not see a "baby" but enjoyed seeing their "tornado", as they said it looked like!!
Last night we all picked out our favorite names... all beginning with J of course:
Jennibelle: Juliette and Jake
Jaylee: JoAnn and Jack
Jason: Juliette and Jackson Lee
Jenn: Josie and Jackson James
Of course, we still have MANY weeks to go until mid March, but it's been exciting news for all of us!!
