Funny email

I just found this email forward sooooooo funny...

Wrong Email Address

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particulerly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their Honeymoon 20 years earlier.

Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thrusday, with his wife flying down the next day.

The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter of her email address, and without realizing his error, sent his email.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory after a massive heart attack. The widow decided to check her email, expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.

The widow's son rushed into the room, found his Mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've arrived
Date: April 27, 2009
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in.
I've seen that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!! Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine.
PS: Sure is freaking hot down here!!!

2010... So far

We've been busy!!
The girls LOVED being off of school and played very well most days. We've spent a lot more time at home lately, because they play Barbies and Littlest Pet Shop so well together.
Jason has been working is new job for a little while now... Costumer Relations Coordinator for Dempsey Uniform. He is at the office almost everyday now, which makes the 45 min commute a little cumbersome, I'm sure. But he never complains!! We're hoping to be out of the house in 2 yrs... hoping.
With Facebook, I've reconnected with a lot of people from my childhood and realized that they are the days I remember the most... playing with the neighborhood kids and my TCA friends. Part of me is always thinking that we need to get settled for the kids "lives" to begin and I've realized Jaylee is already 7 and this IS her life, and these are the times she's going to remember! Whether we're in the right school district yet or not!
She's funny at school... this is so typical of her projects this year... They made a plaques that started with "I have a dream..." and she filled in the blank... "To make more money because the government takes all of ours!" She enjoys listening to talk radio with Jason and watches Glenn Beck with him once or twice a week!!!
I am working 4 nights a week at our frined Emily's. It's nice not having to use credit cards!!! BUT I am tired a lot of the time!! I've found a new website called freecycle.org where people GIVE their stuff away - FOR FREE... with the idea of recycling, reuse, keep mother earth clean.... Whatever... I get free stuff!!!! YEAH.
Jason and I got to go on a date and saw Avatar in Digital 3D... I'm not sure I can sit through another morvie NOT in 3D at the theatre again!!!
The girls get their H1N1 shots tomorrow... I feel like I'm selling out by letting them get it, but I trust their Dr and he wants them to have the 3 shots and said that all of his children have gotten the shot... I still don't have a sense of peace about it though, so we'll see...
I bought a gallon of paint to do our bathroom and then every room in the house will have been painted... whew!! Mandy's realtor comes in the morning to take pix and put her house on the market... the secret is out... Mandy is 13 weeks prego!
Our house is a disaster... I honestly do try to keep it clean but the past few weeks, it is just a mess. That's really frustrating for me... I feel more calm when things are clean - strike that- when things are NEAT and organized. Idid spend my afternoon today cooking home made chili for the freezer, potroast for tomorrow, and filet and mashed potatoes for tonight... we've been eatting a lot of soups since it's only be 30' for the past 6 weeks or so. I never remember the winters being so cold... Oh Savannah... What Was I Thinking?!?
The girls and I are planning a road trip in April or May... to SC to see some HS friends, then to Florida to see Mommom and Neil and then to Savannah to see Christy and her gang - I MISS HER A LOT. So, it should be fun!! Can't say I'm looking forwards to the driving though!
Jenni is so excited for her Pajama Party at school tomorrow... she is so very mature and doesn't even look like a little girls anymore... she is quite beautiful and has a great Love for God.
I bought a new camera, but have not been so impressed... I think I'm expecting too much of it, to be honest! It's just a fancy point and clock b/c we can not afford the "fun" cameras! That reminds me, I need to buy an external hardrive to save all my pix... any suggestions anyone out there?!?
I am almost done "publishing" our blogs from 2007 until Jan 1st 2010. I'm very excited to have the 170 page book in front of me... it's been fun reading through all the old blogs and looking at the pix. What a fun life I have!!!

New Years 09

Dancing in the New Years...
We borrowed my parents Wii and the new dance game.
We had sooo much fun!!
We started our night with a game of Monopoly while we ate dinner -
(36 hours, 2 dinners, 1 lunch & 2 deserts later and we are still slowly playing).
And Jennibelle is BEATING us all!!
THEN...
we danced and danced and danced some more...
Jenni should seriously be back in dance class.
Though, she is very competetive and gets very angry if she loses to someone.
Jaylee is really into the hip songs and cool dance moves.
She could care less who wins and is just enjoying it!
Here are the two girls...

I love that Jenni is chewing gum with her mouth
WIDE open like some high school prissy girl!!!
Jaylee is slowly becoming more open with her feelings...
you can definately tell she is loving this!
This is one of those visions I'll never forget...
She's definately got the booty shake down!!
The girls raved about the game so much that Aunt Meg stopped by on her way out to a New Years Eve Party.

Jaylee is has pretty much memorized this Britney Spears dance/song combo

Don't tell Jason I put this on here...
reminds me of the night we met!!!!!
I am so thankful that I found a man who loves to have fun with the kids!

Luckily, no one took over the video-taping roll for my dances!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

We'll find ourselves to be better dancers in 2010

Christmas Ornaments

My Favorite Christmas Ornaments
So, I totally stole this idea from Mary
(who also stole the idea from someone else!)

As we took down the tree today, the girls and I took pix of our favorite ornaments.
They are in no particular order.I know the pix are terrible.. I actually went a bought a new camera afterwards b/c I was so frustrated.
However, I'm not liking that camera either, but that is way off subject!!!

"Baby's First Christmas 1978"
I think this is now an antique!!!!
I, obviously, love it, b/c it was my first!!
Funny, Mary has the exact same one!!!

"Nice Moosy!"

I bought this for Jason one of our first years together because of an inside joke.

While driving across country, he took a pic of me "petting" a fake moose in middle of a blizzard in the mountains somewhere. He told his family it was a real moose. They believed him. He found this extremely comical and laughs about it to this day?!?!?!?!?

"Jason + Jenn"
Was a wedding gift in 2002.
Handpainted on a sanddollar found in Savannah, GA,
by a local artist.

"Jaylee in 2006"
The first ornament she made!!
(Preschool project)

"Baby Jesuses"
Jaylee made the one on the left
Jenni made the one on the right
(Preschool projects)

"A silly little Santa"
I got this my first year working as an RN.
The hospital let each emplyoee pick an ornament from the gift shop.
I was one of the last people, but now I really like this little guy!

"2002"
Jaylee's first Christmas ornament from Nan & Poppop
My Mom gave me an ornament each year and when I moved out, they went with me.
She does this for my girls also.

"Booper Doopers!!!!"

"Crayola Mice"
My Uncle Dean made this when he worked for Hallmark.
I remember loving it as a kid!!

"Mommom's Paper Angel"
Mommom Moore made this when I was young.
I remember she used these little Angel cutouts for many of her projects!

"Sand Dollar"
Jaylee picked this as a favorite b/c it is a sand dollar that reminds her of Savannah.
It was a gift to us.
"2005"
and "Jenni's Favorite"
Jenni's first Christmas ornament that I bought her.
I remember that there was not too much to chose form that year & I wasn't thrilled with my purchase but every year she is excited to find her spoon, so now I love it!

"Donna's Moon"
My Aunt Donna Moore hand painted this is 1980.
(She signed and dated it!!)
It's a really pretty lavendar color.
"Friendly Frog"
My friend for a decade Kirsten sent this to us a few years back.
It was such a surprise when the mail arrived!
She knew I likde frogs a lot.
The fact that she thought of me still makes me smile!!

"The Pickle!!!!"
I love finding this on the tree Christmas Morning!!
Unfortunately, I'm too old to win the prize
(Besides the fact that I'm, usually the one to hide it!!)

1999 - "My First Car"
My Mom ssaid she serached for a bright blue Ford Focus ZX3 ornament but just couldn't find one!!
As the girls get older, it is even more fun to pull the ornaments out of the box.
Now I have my stories and they tell theirs too!
Their memories amaze me!!!!
