9 Month Jimmy

Jimmy is getting so big and so cute!!!! He's 9 months old and loves to stand, clap and wave "hi". He's got 4 front teeth and eats everything you give him. He spends hours a day running around in his walker and jumping/swinging in his jumper. Bath time is full of splashes and giggles. He is out of his infant car seat and enjoys his stroller much more. He finally sleeps through the night and naps only once. He's still on Soy formula, reflux medicine and miraalax... so that he doesn't have to strain too much. His weight is average but he is very long (90 percentile). He adores the kids. He loves to sit and play trains or super heroes with Jack.  Sometimes he lays and falls straight to sleep, other times I put him in the huckle-buck or Jason walks and sings to him. He choked on a french fry last week and scared the breath out of me. I'm taking him for a photo shoot this week, before his reconstruction surgery next week. We didn't get a single picture of him smiling!!!!

Valley Forge Casino Resort

We're driving home from our date night at the Casino. It was fun but way too expensive.  A really nice hotel room, a $100 dinner that Jason loved and I hated, $200 literally blown in two hours on computer blackjack and slots, a $50 non funny comedy show, way too many mind erasers, long island iced teas & Redbull vodkas, a mechanical bull ride, hours of dancing our butts off, and P90SX.  Next time we'll skip the casino... I feel uncomfortable in them and the people watching makes me sad. We really needed time together and I'm really glad we got to go. Jason loved that he got pointed out as "the toughest guy in here" at the comedy show, he needed his ego stroked a little bit, especially since we're working out. I hope the kids were good for Marianna!

Jack is Three

Here's the link to his video... I really love making them for the kids!

We had a fun party for him with the Liounis clan, Debbie Gerovasilis and Kari Zimmerman.  At the beginning he was cranky and tired (like he has been for weeks now) but managed to make it the whole party.  He and Cole have a love-hate relationship, but boy do they love each other!

He couldn't decide on which superhero party he wanted, so we had a little of each of them.  At the moment, his favorite is Batman.  His bday loot was mostly super heroes also!  And he really made out... Army Dude set, XBOX game, Spiderman building, Capt America outfit, Superman hat, Hot Wheels, Bathing suit outfit, and more super heroes.

I have to toot my own horn... the meatball sandwiches were delicious!!  And the salad... but how could it not be with Olive Garden dressing?  Jason decorated the ice cream cake for Jack and did a great job!  I love that he is so helpful when I decide to throw these parties.

Poor Jimmy is teething so bad, he has been miserable and covered in snot/drool all week.  He seemed to enjoy himself, with a house full of people to distract him.  He loves when Paisley is around!

Coach Jenn

It was my first time coaching, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Mandy and I coached Team G.H. Mechanical in Lititz Rec's Girls 5th/6th grade girls league.
Jenni played with us, and really held her own...  our box-out Queen!!
Jaylee was a team leader and seems to understand the game a lot more.  Her fast break layups have come a long way!
We won our last game today, to make us the unofficial league Champions...  we were down by ten right off the bat and the girls looked so tired and out of it.  A time out and basket totally turned the game around and we won by two in overtime (22-20). The whole gym was going nuts!  I jumped around and yelled all game long... probably looked like a total bafoon but I had F.U.N.
My girls are just like me... very emotional.  Both had teared up at least once during the game!  Jenni was upset (She'll never admit to it though) that she was the only one to not score this season, but in her defense, she wasn't even able to reach the rim until the last few weeks.  We set up a pay called "Star" to let her go one-on-one to the rim, but all 5 defenders picked her up both times we tried it!
Last night at practice the girls played against the parents and then we had a pizza party.  Everyone seemed to have fun but Jaylee jammed her finger BAD - ouch!
