My Baby is Double Digits

 Jimmy turned 10.

My kids are 10-20.

I am old.

But, back to Jimmy...

He has been REALLY into soccer, since the World Cup. So, we bought him tickets to a Philadelphia Union Soccer Game!!!!

He was excited to have friends over for a sleep over.  Jackson had been in the hospital for 5 days, and even got home to surprise him before bed time!

I'd say his favorite things this year were... Millie, Soccer, making the travel soccer team, His brother, His teacher Mr Jenkins, the Camaro, and playing the violin and video games.

His party...

His actual Bday:

Stringham Reunion 2023

We planned this reunion for a year. We were so excited!

And then Jennibelle found out that she had to miss it due to missionary mandatory training.

What a bummer!

We still had fun though... and Jennibelle flew out for 48 hours.

We flew into Seattle and spent the night at Brian's.  He and Melissa then hooked us up with free first class tickets for the 30 minute flight to eastern Washington. We ended up staying at Maria's new house, since there was more room than Grandma/pa's. Luckily, they are next door neighbors.  We mostly just hung out and laughed while we were there.  We also learned how to play pickle ball!

On Wednesday, we all drove 3 hours to the reunion cabin.  It was such a beautiful house.  The only other one that could not make it was Ethan and his wife Taylor.  We learned some new table games, told new and old stories, laughed at and with each other and made memories.  We spent a whole day down at the lake which was a lot of fun. We even kayaked around. We made Greek Spaghetti for everyone (without steak)... yummy!

Our family left early Sat AM to pick up Jennibelle from the airport. She got to spend a lot of time with Gia and Gpa, which was the whole reason for her to come.  Brian's girls were so kind to drive the 3 hours to come spend the day with her on Sunday!

Monday morning, Jaylee and Jennibelle headed east in Jaylee's car - that had been tapped in WA for a year- to road trip home.  The rest of us headed west, back to Brian's to spend and evening with Jason's buddies before flying home the next day. It was great seeing Jason Bosshart and Mike Buckley.

This trip was hard on Jason.  It is not easy getting older:(
