Maroon Five

Jaylee & I got a date day and I got another concert.  And MAN was it good!!!    They put on a show!!!!  Sounded fantastic live.  We skipped out on our seats b/c of our view (see pic below). We danced the night away down on the ground section. There was only one song we didn't know.
We hit Old Navy, TJ Rockwell's & Chocolate World beforehand.  The Voice's Matt McAndrew opened up with "Take me to Church" and more.  Then Nick Jobas snag and danced for quite a while.  When the band finally came out, it started with "wolf" noises and then drums... Man I love drum solos!

Goalie Mom

Being the Mom of the Varsity Goalie is STRESSFUL!!!!  Talk about Amxiety!!

But boy does Jaylee love it!!

Jennibelle's Glasses

Who knew?!?  Turns out my beautiful Jennibelle is Far sighted!  She has had no symptoms, but did fail the eye test at Preschool and again this year at the Drs. She also has a stigmatism.  She'll wear them at school and when she's on the computer. Beautiful with and beautiful without!!

How Dare You?

Every time I hear this song I get sad.
I envision Jaylee singing it about Jack.
I know it's morbid, but it is what it is.
It's a beautiful, real, heart wrenching song.
It makes me sad.
I hope she never sings it.
If you've never heard it, take a listen. Miranda Lambert sang it but Blake Shelton wrote it.

Weather man said it’s gonna snow
By now I should be used to the cold
Mid-February shouldn’t be so scary
It was only December
I still remember the presents, the tree, you and me

But you went away
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I’ll be OK
But I’m not going to ever get over you

Living alone here in this place
I think of you, and I’m not afraid
Your favorite records make me feel better
Cause you sing along
With every song
I know you didn’t mean to give them to me

But you went away
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I’ll be OK
But I’m not going to ever get over you

It really sinks in, you know, when I see it in stone

Cause you went away,
How dare you?
I miss you
They say I’ll be OK
But I’m not going to ever get over you
