My childhood
Oh, the memories!!!
I would be so excited to pick the best Trapper Keeper and folders at Pathmark each summer
LOVED BOOK IT!!! I remember going one time with Devin.
Devin also gave me his sticker albums... I wish to Hod that I hadn't thrown them out :(
They were so loud!
They sold these at the party store in Brookhaven. I don't think I ever owned them but man, did I think they were neat!
Don't touch the middle! And we'd have to turn off the computer between discs! Gabby had a newer computer that required a code... I thought it was cool
I sing that song to my girls.
PBS Bob Ross with fundraising calls!
Dewey decimal system!
I rocked the tin foil!!
I. LOVED. GARBAGE PAIL KIDS.
Plus I loved Red Butt at recess.
Ecto cooler!!!
And Slice- what ever happened to Slice?!?
Meg had a glo worm I remember. Nicole Liounis bought one for Jaylee too.
But nothing beat a Cabbage Parch Kid...not even the home made one from Mommom Moore. I remember watching the news about riots at toy stores. When we were lucky enough to go to toys R Us- where they turn your smile upside down- I would stare longingly at them. I didn't get one for years because we couldn't afford the $30 price tag.
The shoes!!!! Reebok pumps, my beautiful LA Gears, the boys had BK Knights and... JELLIES!!!
I was standing in the office at TCA Elementary School, watching it on a little boxy TV, hanging in the corner...
Though we did not watch TV much, there were a few GRWAT shows. Family TV night was the Cosby Show on Thirsday night. After school every once in a while I got to watch PBS' Mathnet. And Satirday mornings we recorded on our VCR PeeWee's Playhouse if we were gonna miss it. Other favorite cartoons were Smurfs, Muppet Babies and Jem. I would, literally, practice for Double Dare when I was in the shower... I wanted my family to try out SO BAD. LOVE The Golden Girls' theme song... Thank you for being a friend. Travel down the road and back again. Your heart is true, your a pal and a confidant. And if you threw a party and invited everyone you knew... You would see the biggest gift would be from me and the card attached would say "thank you for being s friend!"

JB is Double Digits!!
My baby girl is TEN. I'd say "Oh, where does the time ago?" but I've been asking that for years now! She took Jaylee, Morgan, Serenity and Ali Zimmerman to the movies to celebrate. She's so lucky to have two great friends that have been around for years... I hope they'll always be close!
We transformed her room as her Bday gift. From white walls and hand me down furniture to teal walls to match her bedding, white Ikea furnishings that we picked out together and hot pink accessories. She knows this is the room she'll have until she moves out so we didn't want to do anything too tweeny.
She loves to play with her Webkinz - on the computer, but especially off of the computer... in her room, alone, on the floor. She loves playing the Bass and will take lessons over the summer. She loves to play soccer. She finished up this season with her best games yet. I got some great action shots. She also enjoys being on the Dance Worship team at church - they've done 3 dances so far this year.
Here's a questionnaire that I sometimes do...

5 K: Survived!!
What a great experience for me. Jaylee asked me to do a 5K with her... Just she and I, together. So, after hours searching online, I found the Rock & Glow in Manheim. I didn't train at all (surprise!!) and we didn't do awful... 1252 and 1262 out of 2,000 people! It took us 41 mins to complete. I hoped to run the entire first mile, but started walking a little early. I had to keep asking her to slow down, lol. We wore glow-in-the-dark makeup and lightups. We got there early to enjoy the festivities and Jaylee enjoyed a big greasy burger... Didn't slow her down at all!
We started WAY at the back of the line
Of course Jaylee took a cool picture
We giggled that everyone threw their cups on the ground. We loved that 2 families sprinkled hose water on us as we ran by. There were also different bands/DJs along the way.
After... Jaylee did my glow makeup... Wish I had peeked at it hours prior. She just glopped it on cheeks!!
