What a fun fun fun weekend!!!
We left Jackson at Nan and Poppop's and headed to Philly with the girls for the weekend.
Our first stop was the NJ Aquarium and we had a blast!!!
Jaylee was absolutely TERRIFIED to be "in" the shark tank with Sharks swimming all around us.
She was afraid the glass tunnel would collapse.
I remember being in 12th grade and terrified of the same thing!
Jenni was as free as a bird and loved every second of it!
We all got to touch many animals... slippery sting rays, jellyish sea cucumbers, hard starfist, rough sand sharks and more.
We saw a 4D movie that had some cool effects, though the story line was awful.
We also ate the freshest soft pretzels ever!! YUM...
Right across the river was Philly, so we were doing our Gangsta stance...
We couldn't be tourists in Philly without a Cheese steak...
Geno's it was!!
Then we checked into our fancy-pants Hotel that only had Valet parking!!!
It was the first "skyscraper" in America - it use to be a bank building and much of the decor is original.
And the view from our room was AWESOME! Esp at night, when there was a red moon over the river.

Then we carried on....
A short 6 block walk to The Liberty Bell.
The line was HUGE so we just saw it through the window...
Jenni wanted to explore the subway, though we were a little nervous about it!!!
And then we headed into the National Constitution Center for Jason to learn more about his man-crush, George Washington.
Jenni actually signed the Declaration of Independence...
We spent the evening back at the hotel, relaxing, posing and swimming.
Dinner at Hard Rock - poor Jenni could barely keep her eyes open!
However... Jenni then proceeded to wake up every hour seeing if the Easter Bunny had come yet. I haev no idea how he managed to sneak in between her checks!!! But... alas... by 4:30am he had been there... so there we were, eatting candy at 4:30AM!!!!!!!
Sun morning we had breakfast in the room and then headed back to Liberty square...
baeutiful weather and no crowds!
We toured Independence Hall which was very similar to the interior of our Fram House!
And then we boarded our double-decker tour bus - I HIGHLY recommend it!
It was so cool to drive around on top without a roof and just get to look around, rather than worry about driving. The architecture is soooo amazing! And we hit just about every part of town!
The girls even got to eat from a "tin can on the side of the road" on the tour too! (food cart)
The girls also enjoyed sharing the camera for our first 1/2 ride - and I have 200 pix of downtown Philly to prove it!!

Our final destination was The Franklin Institute.
Here are the girls in the giant heart - my favorite exhibit growing up!!
Jaylee was trying to do the "cell phone disco" - we were clueless, but apparenlty it is a phenomenom!
After we saw the expensive and over-rated Dinosaur travelling exhibit, the girls were in a Roaring Contest...
Jaylee was the only one brave enought to try the Skybike, 3 stories up in the air.
Right before leaving, we saw a show in the Planetarium.
I was not terrified this time, like I was when I came here with school in 5th grade.
Surprisingly, neither of the girls were scared either!
Jennibelle LOVED to participate, since she go the scream out her answers.
It was awesome!!!
Thanks again to Nan and Poppop for our citypass tickets and for our hotel (Our Christmas gift)!!

What a cool idea for a Christmas gift. And can I just say that you and Jason are the funnest parents around. Looks like you guys had a blast. Sorry poor Jackson is not doing so good.
