Jaylee got to come home for three weeks this summer, before heading to France for a year. She will be an Au Pair in the city of Pau. Unfortunately, her car was “injured” at the car shop in Seattle and the replacement part is on a 2 week back order, so she had to fly home, after attending Ethan’s wedding. It was weird because she was gone for a few days while Jennibelle was still in LA on a Mission’s trip. They -literally- swapped USA coasts.
She headed to NYC with friends to get her work Visa. She and I have spent a lot of time shopping. We had a big open house for her. She’s spent hours and hours catching up with friends. We had dinner with the Gerivasilises. She got to see Chris Stapleton live. She had brunch with her 5th grade teacher, Mrs Walker. She caught up, multiple times, with the Dosie Dough crew. She spent quality time with her brothers, even spending a day at Lake Tobias. She (finally) got to get to know Jennibelle’s very-serious boyfriend, Josh. We spent a day in OCNJ. We spent DAYS together shopping- even for Jenni’s Hoco dress. She did Jennibelle’s senior portraits. She took an impromptu trip to Niagara Falls with Eva and Lauren.
