Tonight, I had my first Mommy-Son Date with Jimmy.
It was run by Chic Fil A. We ate chicken, then played a life size board game, like Life. Then we went for ice cream.
He talked about his excitement since he woke up this morning!! He kept saying how it was the best day of his life and how is belly was going crazy because of his excitement. He asked me to wear a dress... and no sunglasses since I’m “more beautiful without sunglasses.” He picked out his own “handsome outfit.” He asked if he could buy me flowers, so we found a local farm with a cheap, beautiful bouquet. He then insisted on us taking the flowers with us!!!! He was actually confused when I put them on the counter. HE asked Jason to take our picture after he held the front door open for me and said “you first!!” We played Hide-and-Seek while we waited for the doors to open.
In the Life game, we visited the ocean where we matched shells in the sand, the dessert where we were supposed to bravely reach into boxes and guess the creature, the forest where we guessed animal foot prints and outer space where we shot rockets.
We visited the photo booth, read adventure books and met the Chick Fil A Cow.
Our adventure was from 4:30-6 so we headed to SweetFrogs afterwards, where I was thanked 200 times. My heart is full:)
