Jaylee's big pool test

Jaylee passed her big pool test!

We went with friends (Vanessa and Bailee) to the LS YMCA indoor pool today.

Jaylee and Bailee decided to take the Big Pool Test, at the age of 7 and with no preparation! They just winged it and did great! Now Jaylee can swim wherever she wants in the YMCA pool.

Ta Da!!!!

She had to wade water, then show that she could flip and float on her back and belly, and finally swim 4 laps.

This is a pic of Bailee after she passed her test, but you can see Jaylee juping in and starting her test.

She seemed a teency bit nervous right before the test...

Jaylee was very independent from the get go.

Jennibelle was not happy that she couldn't wear floaties into the pool, but soon after taught herself how to tread water, bouncy around the 3' section, and sort-of float. She had become a little TOO independent by the time we left and wanted to know when she could take her Big Pool Test. She also loved the kiddy section where the water was 9 inches and there was a little water fall... she even went under the falls!!!!
