Beach Day Skip

We decided, kind of last minute, to use the day-after-Memorial-Day as our annual skip-school-to-go-to-the-beach day!  I am so glad we did. It was just me and the kids. There wasn't a single argument, all day... For real!!  We got to OCNJ around 10:30, parked at the boards for $10 and spent the day with frisbee a, soccer balls, jumping waves, riding waves, jogging, relaxing, shopping, mini golfing and eating. My kind of day. A high of only 75, and cloudy but Jenni still went way out in the ocean. All 3 of us girls got burnt 😩, despite 50 spf. We hit the dollar store. Jack replaced his wooden snake and the girls got anklets. Mac n Manco's was our lunch and dinner. Jackson LOVED it.  All the kids had a blast "playing" 18 holes of glow golfing. And just like that, we were on our way home at 6:45. Jimmy was a trooper, though he was exhausted. Jaylee took two jogs (in her conservative BIKINI) and saw a beached dolphin!
