Jaylee decided to run for the postion of Student Representative of her 3rd grade class for School Counsel this year.
Like everything else she does, she got VERY into it.
We made lots of posters...
This one was NOT approved to be hung...
She also made fake money to hand out...
I'll get a copy of her speach that she wrote by herself.
She did not win, though she truelly believed that she would!
She was pretty bummed, but was just fine the next day!
JB was in tears when she found out Jaylee lost!!!
I'm very proud that she gives all of her little projects her best!!

I love Jaylee's campaign slogan. "Whoo hoo". Adorable. I admire her for being brave enough to run. It was something I wish I had the guts to do. I am so proud of her for her efforts.
Good job Jason & Jenn for raising her to accept losses & keep going. That is something that is difficult to teach sometimes.
I loved all her posters!!! And what help she had from her parents...it was wonderful. Sweet little JB....being so sad for her sister. When I talked to Jaylee after she told me she didn't win, she was telling me that she was planning on running again next year. Yep, you've taught her well!!! Love that girl!!
Those are awesome posters! I can't believe she didn't win! Maybe next year she should use the slogan "vote for Jaylee. . . or my dad will come and beat you up." :P
WOW! did she win? what a good job on the posters & the money to hand out. Great idea.
